Pseudotsuga menziesii "Seattle Mountain" is a very bright needled clone of the Douglas fir Species. The unusual main feature for this discovery is the lovely lemon yellow new growth. It emerges an odd lime green and by summer the new growth has become a very nice yellow standing out against last years now dark green needles. It does need some good sun to look its best and yet may need some afternoon shade in some places. If you can provide that it is quite something to see. It is hardy to USDA Zone 4 and is 6' tall and 4' wide in ten years. tall.
