Maples (Acers) are among the most well known of trees. There are many Species or kinds of maples and each has a pedigree of selections discovered over the generations. They grow all over the temperate parts of the world and vary widely in leaf shape and character. Most of the Acer Species and their cultivars sold in our store are those generally considered Japanese Maples and are rated at USDA Zones 5-9. This term has come to include a number of species some not from Japan or even Asia but of similar palmate leaf type. There is a Maple for every place and occasion literaly. Leaves and bark for every season shape and size.
A passing carnival in our gardens or a mighty blast of color for weeks or for long seasons of graceful form and beauty.
