Picea Stichensis “Silver Zwerg” is a small growing clone of the giant Sitka Spruce species with marvelous and sometimes just outright eerie looking bicolored foliage of silvery blue and rich green. It grows an inch or two a year forming a dense prickly mound. There are fat brown buds all over it in spring. Great for texture and color and interest all year. People always love these strange miniature and dwarf forms of Sitka. They are unique in so many ways. Enjoys sun to part shade hardy to Usda Zone 6. May be 18" wide and tall in ten years.
