Acer Palmatum Spring Delight is a unique variety in the “Lace Leaf” category that is quite interesting. It has the typical pendulous habit for this type and cultivars in this category are always spectacular and desirable specimens but Spring Delight takes things a step further as it’s foliage exhibits the dipped in blood effect on it’s pale yellow green spring foliage. Larger plants are real attention grabbers in spring. Makes quite an interesting look as you can see in photo. This effect lessens in summer. Thus the name Spring Delight.
