Pinus Strobus “Diggy” is a tough dense short needled form of Eastern White pine. It looks nothing like its large cousins. Diggy forms a dense prickly looking irregular upright mound of short slightly twisted green needles over time. It is a dwarf and grows about an inch or two a year. It has a cactus look to it on first impression. Has lots of character just like the name! Needs good sun. Hardy to USDA Zone 3
